About Us - Cal City MX Park
Thank you for visiting our website! We are committed
to making Cal City MX Park a friendly, safe, and
enjoyable experience for the entire family.
A little about us...
We are a family owned and operated motocross facility.
Our hearts are poured out into this dream becoming a
reality and we will continue to strive to create an
extraordinary track. Our facility is
located in
California City, CA which is ranked the 12th largest OHV land use area in the state and is the third
largest city in California. California City welcomes
over a hundred thousand riders all year long. Borax
Bill Park is adjacent to Cal City MX Park and
accommodates free camping, water, flush toilets, and a
nearby refuse station. The local 76 gas station also
sells VP fuel out of the pump.
Cal City also houses
the D.I.R.T (Desert Incident Response Team) staff
which consists of police, ambulance, and fire
department volunteers dedicated to all OHV riders
during long weekends and holidays.
Our facility includes two
tracks, a concession
stand, and a pro shop. Parking is located outside of
the fence and can be used by our customers for
overnight camping free of charge. We are a practice
and race facility with staff including flaggers and an EMT
at all times. Signs are located
throughout the facility to properly direct all riders
to entrance and exit locations along with a clearly
designated area for spectators to view the entire
tracks. Our goal is to continuously uphold the
Brett Downey Foundation standards.
CCMXR Promotions will hold several race events
throughout the year. If you are unable to camp
overnight, a new hotel in town is under construction
that will accommodate out-of-town guest during these
events. Please check our calendar page for a race
schedule and racing information. We will continue to
make improvements to our facility, so please keep
checking back with us for updates.
